All this eyftv say, because it is software encoding, as you say, is this coming from the taxation being placed on the processor?

Follow the onscreen directions which I found easier to comprehend and follow than Apple's with its software and eeytv - and Apple's onscreen directions are easy anyway.
The sound keeps going, though, no problem. I'll update you on what difference if any it makes. I've assumed without attempting otherwise that the video connection is necessary even though only the audio will be saved and used later.
Thank you in advance. With earlier, less powerful, later model G4s you will be limited to recording at x Video CD quality, although viewing at x is possible.
eyetv diversity
When my bought in late EyeTV device malfunctioned this past July, I went to the Elgato web site and reviewed the support information and knowledge base, but was not able to get the device to work. All replies Drop Down menu. Watch and pause live TV on your Mac.
All in all this is a nice unit that will fill your TV needs well if your computer is relatively new or your requirements not too great.

It's annoying because I want to watch a clean copy of one of my shows. Even set up automatic schedules record your favorite series, or create Smart Schedules to record just the shows you like. Item is in your Cart. I apologize for only eyyetv the surface of what this extraordinary product can do.
Beyond the shortcomings already discussed I encountered only a few minor irritations. Yet nothing would help.
This is not the case with an analogue TV signal. Click a 'button' on the onscreen 'controller' it's made to look like a remote device to record. Page 1 of 1 Start over Page 1 of 1.
